"For three nights only, e-52 Student Theatre is presenting two shows by the acclaimed playwright Christopher Durang. Thursday, April 26th to Saturday, April 28th at 7:30 pm take a trip down to your “therapist's office” in the Bacchus Theatre in the Perkins Student Center. Eleven actors, two shows, three bucks from your wallet (five if you aren't a student) and a night of comedy, tears, thoughtful self-introspection, and banana bread.

In 'dentity Crisis (directed by Andrew Ferry), Jane (Becca Jackson) discovers her recent suicide attempt is the least of her worries. Her manic mother Edith (Casey Eros) claims she's invented cheese and plays with potato chips like they were tinker toys. To make matters worse, Edith appears to be cheating on Jane's father (Ben Morrison) with Jane’s own brother (Ben Morrison)... and a strange Count hailing from France (Ben Morrison). Can Jane maintain her identity in the fluid, ever-changing madness that is her own home?

Beyond Therapy (directed by Len Cannon) shows us what happens when you go on the world's worst blind date... twice! Prudence (Robin Yamashita) is looking for a strong man to take care of her, but what she gets is Bruce (Steve Haack) who weeps at the table and is seeing women while maintaining a relationship with his gay lover, Bob (Jeff Rockwell). Bruce and Prudence manage to somehow strike off a hilariously awkward but touching and thought-provoking relationship, thanks in no part to their inept therapists Stuart (Bob Levine) and Charlotte (Katie Feeley). The inmates are truly running the asylum as Charlotte prefers finger-paints and Snoopy dolls as therapy tools, while Stuart uses most of his therapy sessions as a singles bar. Will Bruce and Prudence be able to find themselves a life together in the face of their own crippling neuroses?

So come on out Thursday, Friday, and Saturday and be ready to have experience every emotion in the book from laughter to sadness to fear to hope all in one night. And even better... two of the best modern plays you'll ever see for the price of one!"

-Andrew B. Ferry, director of 'dentity Crisis

Not to split hairs or be a jackass, but I feel like this should be under upcoming events.

But that shit actually looks pretty funny. I might go see it.
